The tale opens with all the hosers coming together in a tavern from various backgrounds that I can't remember. Leonidas the Paladin, Bungus the Druid, Note the Bard and Flynn the Cleric. They all come together on a common assignment, to hunt some werewolves who have appeared in greater numbers as of late. After the ragtag group embarks and some brief travel later the group hears a commotion and after identifying their targets being to make chase. As the chase continues we noticed that the werewolves has taken 2 human children, even talking among themselves in the Sylvan language "They're chasing us, do as the Master says". After some attempts to save them, the wolves manage to flee into the fog but not without the party taking some down before they could escape. After chasing their prey into the fog however the party finds themselves in a whole new setting and surroundings , very clearly not at all where they once were. After getting their bearings they realize they are in front of a massive gate towering hundreds of feet in the air and after some brief travel beyond they come across a man by the name of [[Vasili Von Holtz]] who said he was on his way to deliver a letter to the Burgomaster of [[Barovia Village]], [[Kolyan Indirovich]]. With some brief questions we learn some small details of the land such as Druids hailing from [[Yesterhill]] not being the nicest or liked group, much like the [[Dusk Elves]] hailing in a camp near [[Vallaki]], where [[Vasili Von Holtz|Vasili]] is in fact a sort of royal. After escorting [[Vasili Von Holtz|Vasili]] to [[Barovia Village]], kind words are exchanged and he leaves the party who are all immediately distracted by the sight of two small children in the street who introduce themselves as [[Rosavalda Durst|Rose]] and [[Thornboldt Durst|Thorn]]. After a brief introduction they ask the party for help dealing with a "monster" in their home and without hesitation we head inside, only to be immediately locked inside, stuck to deal with this monster now if they wanted to or not. # Session End Side notes - The birth of shingahla happened cus Chris is lovely - I cant take notes for shit - Also Chris (Bungus) got bit by the werewolf so he can turn cus all the druid forms weren't enough - I wrote this down "dragon cult cus of" and i have no idea what it means
