After at long last reaching the lower levels of the Durst Manor, and doing some small looting and exploring, we eventually come to find the family crypt of the manor with tombs labeled with [[Rosavalda Durst]], [[Elizabeth Durst]], [[Thornboldt Durst]], [[Gustav Durst]] and [[Walter Durst]]. Of those names we do eventually find [[Gustav Durst]] who has been turned into a flesh monster thing that I cant remember what its actually called. After putting him down for good we continue. After reaching the lowest level and finding what appears to be a ritual site with a massive pile of bones and rot, several cultists appear and begin to demand sacrifice, chanting "one must die" over and over again. After the cultists were appeased by sacrificing a toad befriended on an earlier floor, the pile of remains animates and we now learn the spirit of [[Walter Durst]], possesses it as a Crawling Grave. After the Grave crawls and consumes all the cultists, the party is eventually able to subdue it along side [[Luminix III]] and are able to put [[Walter Durst|Walter]] to rest in his crypt along with his siblings remains we had found earlier and the burden on the house appears to lift. As the party makes their way upstairs they find a man searching a cupboard and eventually taking an old wand. After some taunting he smiles, turns into a bat and leaves. We then make our way outside the house alongside [[Luminix III]] and are greeted by the one and only [[Strahd Von Zarovich]], who somehow knew things about everyone in the party, and after getting swung on by [[Luminix III]], we learn that the true name of Luminex is Cornelius and he is in fact the brother of Strahd. Some more taunting by [[Strahd Von Zarovich|Strahd]] eventually leads him to turn into a bat and fly away from the party, not of course before destroying the body of [[Luminix III]], leaving us with only his head, very much alive, but just a head none the less. # End of Session Side Notes - Mostly from memory and condensed again cus note game was weak
